The Lions Club of Batticaloa Spectrum identified the need for additional support for patients at Batticaloa Teaching Hospital due to limited bed availability in the ward. To help patients and their families during hospital stays, 8 Lions volunteered and donated 20 sleeping mats and one table fan forward patients’ use. The hospital confirmed that approximately 20 patients will directly benefit from the sleeping mats. The project helped improve patient comfort and provided essential support to those facing difficulties due to limited bed facilities while receiving medical treatment.
