We Lions Extend Support After Ella-Wellawaya Road Bus Tragedy
Today, members of We Lions visited the site of the Ella-Wellawaya bus crash to offer support, comfort, and solidarity with the victims and their families. The tragic accident claimed 15 lives and injured 18 people, including men, women, and children. On 04th Sept 2025
Our team arrived bearing supplies, messages of hope, and compassion. We spent time listening to their stories, sharing in their grief, and helping in whatever small way we could — whether by distributing aid or simply being present.
At We Lions, we believe in walking beside people during their darkest hours. We are committed to providing not just immediate relief, but ongoing support for recovery and healing. We will continue working with local authorities, community leaders, and volunteers to ensure that those impacted by the Ella tragedy receive dignity, care, and the assistance they deserve.
