Description

The Lions Club of Valaichchenai Town successfully conducted a special Dengue Prevention and Awareness Campaign at the BT/KU/Valaichchenai Hindu College (National School) grounds and surrounding drainage systems.​This initiative was specifically carried out to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the students appearing for the upcoming Grade 5 Scholarship Examination & G.C.E. A/L examination in August, protecting their health and eliminating potential mosquito-breeding sites within the school environment. This project was successfully carried out under the "Protect Environment" category of the esteemed District Governor's "Six Point Program" for the 2026–2027 Lionistic Year.
