The Lions Club of Valaichchenai Town successfully organized a special community project at the Kinnaiyadi Sivan Temple premises, aimed at enhancing value-based education, socio-cultural awareness, and meditation practices for the Dhamma School students in the area.Strategic Alignment:
This initiative is conducted under the "ASSIST to Youth and Education" program, which serves as a core pillar of the District Governor’s 6-Point Program for the Lionistic Year 2026–2027.
Through this alignment, we reaffirm our commitment to structured development and community upliftment.
Recognizing the crucial academic milestone ahead for these youth, this unique initiative focused on supporting their mental well-being, spiritual grounding, and concentration through structured meditation guidance. As a highlight of the program, a special Saraswathi / divine idol (Ezhundaruli Idol) was officially handed over to support the students' spiritual and cultural development within a peaceful temple environment.
In accordance with the request made by the administration of the Kinnaiyadi Dhamma School and the Board of Trustees of the Kinnaiyadi Sivan Temple, this project reflects our steadfast dedication not only to public health and welfare, but also to empowering the younger generation, nurturing moral values, and fostering a balanced, focused mindset for their academic success.
