Donation of Essential Items to Badulla Prison
The Lions Club of Bandarawela proudly carried out a significant community service initiative by donating essential and much-needed items to the Badulla Prison on the 06th of September 2025
This noble project was organized under the leadership of Project Chairman & Zone Chairman, Lion Maduranga Manorathna (MJF / PMAF) with the guidance and participation of Club President, Lion A. Ganeshan (MAF J.P.) together with the dedicated members of our club.
The donation aimed at providing comfort, relief, and encouragement to the inmates by supplying important necessities that improve their daily living conditions. These contributions reflect our unwavering commitment to serving the underprivileged and addressing humanitarian needs, ensuring that no segment of society is left behind.
Through this meaningful initiative, our club demonstrated the true spirit of Lionism — extending kindness, spreading hope, and uplifting lives with dignity and compassion. Projects of this nature not only support immediate requirements but also build bridges of understanding, love, and humanity.
