Lions Club of Kattankudy MAF Excellence, in collaboration with the Kattankudy Base Hospital Blood Bank and with the sponsorship of Oday Restaurant - Kankeyanodai, successfully organized a large-scale blood donation camp on Sunday, 5th July 2026, at Kangeyanodai Al-Aqsa Maha Vidyalayam.
The event was graced by Region (2) Chairman Lion V. Mathivanan MJF/MAF as the Chief Guest, who attended and highlighted the importance of humanitarian service.
The camp was conducted with the objective of addressing the blood shortage in the Batticaloa District, through which 72 voluntary blood donors generously contributed blood.
The Lions Club of Kattankudy MAF Excellence also expressed its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Oday Restaurant for their valuable sponsorship. As a token of appreciation, a special memento was presented to the organization in recognition of their social contribution.
The Lions Club of Kattankudy MAF Excellence further reaffirmed its commitment to continue organizing such humanitarian initiatives in the future for the betterment of the community.
