Description

Mahadowa Upper Tamil Vidyalayam in Madulsima, Badulla, is one of the schools affected by the recent floods. At this school, 24 Grade 5 students were preparing for the scholarship examination, and teachers had been conducting additional after-school coaching classes to support them. Upon the request of the Principal, the Lions Club of Batticaloa extended its support by providing lunch for the students for a one-month period from July until the examination in the first week of August. Members of the Lions Club of Batticaloa personally visited the school, traveling from Batticaloa to Badulla, to observe the program and formally hand over the donation.
