Description

A student from a vulnerable family was identified for support. His father is speech-impaired, and his mother is a war victim. The family depends on irregular, low-income work to meet their daily needs and has two children. Despite these challenges, the eldest son is performing well in his studies and aspires to become an engineer. Due to financial constraints, the family is unable to fully support his educational needs. Considering this situation, the Lions Club of Batticaloa donated LKR 25,000 to assist him in purchasing essential educational materials, enabling him to continue his studies without interruption. He is currently preparing for the GCE Ordinary Level examination, and upon successful completion, the Club will further support him with additional coaching for Advanced Level studies.
