The Lions Club Of Bandarawela Conducted A “United Against Dengue” Community Health Awareness Programme To Educate School Students About Dengue Prevention And The Importance Of Maintaining A Clean And Mosquito-Free Environment.
The Programme Provided Students With Practical Knowledge About Dengue Transmission, Symptoms, Prevention Methods, And The Elimination Of Mosquito Breeding Places. Students Were Encouraged To Take An Active Role In Keeping Their Homes, Schools, And Communities Clean And Free From Dengue Breeding Sites.
The Programme Increased Students’ Awareness Of Dengue Prevention And Encouraged Them To Become Responsible Health Ambassadors Within Their Families And Communities. The Initiative Contributed To Promoting A Cleaner, Healthier, And Dengue-Free Community.
