Description

The Lions Club Of Bandarawela Conducted A Child Safety And Abuse Prevention Awareness Programme To Educate Children About Personal Safety And Help Them Recognize And Respond To Inappropriate Or Unsafe Situations. The Programme Focused On Awareness Of Physical And Sexual Abuse, Personal Boundaries, Safe And Unsafe Behaviour, And The Importance Of Speaking To A Trusted Adult When They Feel Threatened Or Uncomfortable. Age-Appropriate Guidance Was Provided In A Safe And Supportive Environment. The Programme Empowered Children With Essential Knowledge And Confidence To Protect Themselves, Recognize Potential Risks, And Seek Help When Necessary. It Also Strengthened Community Awareness And Commitment Towards Creating A Safer Environment For Children.
