The Medical Awareness Programme was conducted to educate community members on preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices. Qualified healthcare professionals delivered informative sessions covering nutrition, personal hygiene, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, communicable disease prevention, mental well-being, regular medical check-ups, and early detection of illnesses. Awareness sessions were conducted at the Grama Sevaka (GS) Office on 24 July 2026, while an additional session was held on 25 July 2026 for community members who visited the MOH Office for the medical camp. The programme aimed to improve health awareness, encourage preventive healthcare practices, and promote early intervention among underserved communities.
