Dengue Epidemic Eradication Week Lions Clean Up Sri Lanka Lions & Leos in Action for a Cleaner, Dengue-Free Nation As part of the nationwide Dengue Epidemic Eradication Week, a successful community clean-up and dengue prevention campaign was conducted in the Kallady Velloor Area, commencing from Shakthi Vidyalayam, Kallady, on Sunday, 5 July 2026, from 3.00 PM onwards. The campaign included Covering water containers to prevent mosquito breeding Introducing cleaner fish into water wells Distributing dengue awareness handbills Conducting a community clean-up campaign This meaningful service project was jointly organized by: • Lions Club of Arayampathy Excellence • Lions Club of Batticaloa Supreme • Lions Club of Batticaloa Ladies • Leo Club of Batticaloa We were honored by the participation of First Vice District Governor Lion T.
