Education is a fundamental right that should not be compromised by financial hardship. The Lions Club of Batticaloa Spectrum for Humanity identified a student of St. Joseph's College, Thannamunai, whose education was at risk due to difficult family circumstances and a physical disability affecting her mobility. To support the family, the club provided dry rations and established a home-based chicken farming initiative to create a sustainable source of income for the student's single mother. This project aims to improve the family's financial stability and ensure the student's continued access to education. 11 Lions from the Club participated for the service project
