St Andrew's Balika Vidyalaya
A residential science study camp was held at St Andre's Balika Vidyalaya for 5 days from 28th June to 2nd July 2026. 24 Advanced Level students participated; 6 Science teachers and the principal organised and coordinated the whole programme. Lions of Nawlapitiya donated part of the cost of meals (Shorteats, tea, fruit juices, sugar, and milk). Lion Kithsiri, Lion Dr Yohananthan, Lion Hema, Lion Menaka, Lion Anura and Lion Naal participated. On the last day of the programme, all the participating children and the teachers were subjected to a medical checkup: Measuring blood pressure, BMI, heart examination and blood sugar testing for necessary children and teachers.
