Description

One digital blood pressure monitoring apparatus was donated to St Andrew's Balika Vidyalaya at the request of the principal to be used in their first aid room. The president, Lion Kithsisri, Secretary, Lion Hema, Zone chairman, Lion Anura, Lion Dr Yohananthan and Lion Menaka participated in the project. The donation was done at the principal's office in the presence of the principal, 5 teachers and 32 Advanced Level Science students. Lion Dr Yohananthan explained what blood pressure is and why it should be maintained at a normal level and demonstrated how to use the machine to the participants.
