Health & Medical Camp for Elders – Lions Club of Bandarawela The Lions Club of Bandarawela successfully organized a Health & Medical Camp at the Lions “Sanasuma” Elders Home Conference Hall on 10th March 2026, under the leadership of Project Chairman Lion Lakshman De Silva. This meaningful initiative brought together not only the elders of the Sanasuma Home, but also villagers and members of the local pansala, benefiting approximately 50 participants. The camp focused on promoting health awareness and ensuring access to essential medical care. With the generous support of the medical team from Base Hospital Bandarawela, including doctors, nurses, and supporting staff, participants were provided with free medical check-ups, consultations, and necessary medications. This project reflects the unwavering commitment of the Lions Club of Bandarawela towards community health and compassionate service, especially for the elderly and underserved. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all medical professionals and Lions members who contributed to the success of this impactful service. “We Serve.”
