International Women’s Day Celebration – Bandarawela
The Lions Club of Bandarawela successfully organized a meaningful International Women’s Day Celebration on 19th March 2026 at the Divisional Secretariat Auditorium, Bandarawela, with the participation of distinguished guests and community members.
The event was honored by the presence of the Divisional Secretary along with officers of the Divisional Secretariat Office – Bandarawela. The program was further enriched by the participation of the Bandarawela Special Women’s Unit, highlighting the importance of women’s empowerment and community support.
As part of this project, the club proudly provided lunch, tea, snacks, and gifts to all participants, sharing warmth and appreciation in celebration of this special day.

With the active participation of Lions club officers and members and community representatives, the event successfully recognized the invaluable contributions of women while strengthening community bonds.
