To commemorate International Cancer Awareness Day, the Lions Club of Batticaloa organized an awareness walk in collaboration with the Regional Director of Health Services (RDHS) and the Municipal Council. The event saw the participation of Lions members, the Regional Director of Health Services, healthcare staff, and Municipal Council officials. The awareness procession commenced from the RDHS office and concluded at Gandhi Park. During the program, awareness leaflets were distributed to the public, and informative speeches were delivered by Medical Officers and participating Lions members.
