Lions Sanasuma Elders Home - Amunudowa Bandarawela
Health & Medical Camp – February 2026 The Lions Club of Bandarawela successfully organized a Health & Medical Camp on 28th February 2026 with the objective of improving access to essential healthcare services for the community. The camp was conducted at the Conference Hall of the Lions Sanasuma Elders Home, Amunudowa, Bandarawela, and was mainly focused on supporting the residents of the Lions Sanasuma Elders Home, nearby villagers, and monks from the surrounding temple. Approximately 50–60 participants benefited from this humanitarian initiative. During the camp, participants received free medical check-ups, professional health consultations, and essential medicines, which were distributed free of charge. This successful project was made possible with the generous support and dedicated service of the medical team from the Bandarawela Base Hospital. The Lions Club of Bandarawela sincerely appreciates the commitment and compassion shown by the doctors, nurses, and minor staff who volunteered their valuable time and expertise to care for the community. Through initiatives like this, the Lions Club of Bandarawela continues its mission of serving humanity and promoting the wellbeing of the community. Project Chairman: Lion R. M.
