In the true spirit of compassion, sharing, and gratitude symbolized by the auspicious festival of Thai Pongal, the Lions Club proudly carried out a meaningful service project by distributing school books to needy students at Sri Subramaniya Swamy Kovil, Bandarawela.
This noble initiative aimed to support the education of deserving children, empowering them with essential learning resources and encouraging them to pursue their studies with confidence and hope. The project beautifully reflected the values of Thai Pongal—thankfulness, generosity, and care for the community.
