Extending Hope Through Compassion – Food & Clothing Donation for Kandegedara Disaster-Affected Families
In the true spirit of Lionism, the Lions Club proudly carried out a humanitarian donation and handover project to support families affected by the recent disaster in the Kandegedara Ledger Estate housing area.
As part of this compassionate initiative, 24 disaster-affected families received food and clothing packs, each valued at Rs. 7,500/-, providing essential relief and comfort during a challenging period.
The total value of the project amounted to Rs. 250,000/-.
This meaningful service project was successfully conducted under the guidance and leadership of Project Chairman Lion Sujeeewa Weerasingha, with the active participation and dedication of Lions members.
