In response to the severe flooding experienced in Sri Lanka, which adversely affected many vulnerable communities, our Lions Club successfully organized a humanitarian flood relief service project to support the affected families.
With the generous financial assistance of a well-wisher residing in the Australia, this project was implemented with the objective of providing immediate relief to those impacted by the disaster. The support received enabled the Lions Club to effectively carry out this humanitarian initiative.
Under this project, essential dry ration packs and necessary relief items were distributed to 172 flood-affected families. The assistance provided helped address the immediate needs of families who were facing significant hardships due to the floods.
This service project stands as a reflection of the Lions Club’s strong commitment to humanitarian service and its dedication to supporting communities during times of crisis and natural disasters.
