Project Description:
As part of our disaster relief initiative, we donated 200 packs of dry rations to families who were affected by floods and displaced from their villages. The village we visited had no proper road access, making the delivery of relief supplies both challenging and impactful.
Participation:
The project was honored by the presence of the District Governor and the Second Vice District Governor (2nd VDG). The Lions Club of Batticaloa – Lady Stars of Humanity also joined hands with us in successfully carrying out this humanitarian effort.
Impact:
This initiative provided essential food support to vulnerable families during a critical time, bringing relief, hope, and reassurance to a remote and underserved community.
Conclusion:
Through this collaborative project, we demonstrated unity, compassion, and a strong commitment to serving flood-affected communities, especially those living in difficult-to-reach areas.
