Joint Humanitarian Relief Project – Lions Club of Bandarawela
The Lions Club of Bandarawela successfully organized a massive joint humanitarian relief project together with the Neth FM, Young Mens Buddhist Association - Bandarawela and the Executives Club Bandarawela. This impactful initiative was launched with the aim of supporting the families severely affected by the recent natural disaster in the Badulla District.
Over an intensive 50-hour campaign, our members and partnering organizations worked tirelessly to collect dry rations, food items, kitchen essentials, bottled water, clothing, and other essential daily-need supplies. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and kindness of our donors, we were able to gather relief items valued at over Rs. 6,000,000.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors, well-wishers, volunteers, and partner organizations who came forward without hesitation. Your contributions made it possible for us to respond swiftly and meaningfully during this time of urgent need.
All collected relief items were officially handed over to assist the natural disaster–affected families in the Badulla District, ensuring timely support and hope during their recovery.
