During the recent cyclone "Ditwah" in the Paragalla, Udahentanna area, a significant landslide occurred, causing severe damage to 13 estate line rooms, which were completely buried under mud. The area deemed unsafe was evacuated for safety reasons. A total of 167 survivors from the landslide and those evacuated are currently housed in the nearby Craighead No.1 Tamil School. We have provided preventive tetanus injections, wound dressings, and medications for fever, cough, and diarrhoea, as well as their monthly clinical supplies.
