The District Governor of Lions District 306 D-10, Lion K. Lokendran PMJF, PMAF, facilitated the donation of a total of 50 life-saving jackets valued at approximately Rs. 110,000 at the request of the Chairman and Honorary Secretary of the Koralaipattu Pradeshiya Sabha. 110,000. 110,000 was donated. This project was jointly carried out under the leadership of the District Governor by the Colombo Plaza Lions Club and the Lions Club of Valaichenai Town These life-saving jackets were distributed to protect the daily commuters of the Sandiveli–Thikilivettai , Kinnayadi–Murukkan Theevu , and Nasivan Theevu , which fall under the Koralaipattu Divisional Secretariat area, from flood-related disasters. The event was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Koralaipattu Pradeshiya Sabha, several Pradeshiya Sabha members, Lion Wilson Sudhakar, Lion Nirmalan, and the club treasurer, Lion K. Yogarajah MJF
