Throughout November 2025, the Lions Club of Bandarawela continued its ongoing service project by providing tea and refreshments to the Vocational Training Unit at the Base Hospital, Bandarawela. This monthly initiative, carried out every Tuesday and Friday, aims to create a supportive environment for trainees, patients, and staff who participate in vocational training programs and attend medical consultations. Each session was attended by an average of 45 beneficiaries, including individuals undergoing skill development training, patients seeking treatment, and staff members attached to the unit. Across the 8 days, Lions members contributed a total of 20 Lion hours, personally serving refreshments and offering encouragement. This consistent effort demonstrates the club’s continued dedication to community service, emotional support, and the overall well-being of the beneficiaries.
