Under the initiative of the Lions Club of Valaichenai Town – 306 D10, and in accordance with the request of the Koralaipattu Divisional Secretary, a consignment of Mats was handed over today (29.11.2025) to the Officer in Charge of Disaster Management at the Divisional Secretariat.
This donation was made for the benefit of the families who have been displaced from their homes due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions and are currently residing in relief camps.
Our club member, Captain Lion Mr. Basil Raja PMJF.PMAF voluntarily undertook the responsibility as the Project Chairperson for this noble humanitarian initiative. On behalf of all members of our club, I extend our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to him.
