Project Description: With the generous sponsorship of Friends of Batticaloa UK, our club, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Batticaloa, organized a free cataract surgery program for 100 needy patients at the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital. Impact: This project restored the gift of sight to many underprivileged individuals who could not afford the treatment. It significantly improved their quality of life and promoted community health and well-being. Conclusion: Through this meaningful initiative, we strengthened our commitment to serving humanity and demonstrated the power of collaboration between local and international partners in addressing vital health needs.
