The primary objectives of the Jersey Launching Ceremony were:
Official Unveiling: To formally launch and unveil the new, sponsored team jersey, publicly marking the commencement of the sporting season or partnership.
Sponsorship Recognition: To formally recognize and thank AL OTHAIM SUPER MARKET for their generous contribution and commitment to youth development and sports.
Community Engagement: To generate excitement, enhance the club's image, and foster a strong sense of unity and support among the team members, Lions Club members, and the local community.
Youth Empowerment: To inspire and motivate young athletes by providing them with professional-standard gear, thereby reaffirming the Lions Club's dedication to leading and empowering youth.
3. Execution and Activities
The event was executed successfully on the planned date and time, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.
Preparation: All logistics, including venue booking (Ultra Indoor, Kattankudy), stage setup, lighting, and guest seating, were finalized a week prior to the event. Invitations were extended to key Lions District Officials, sponsor representatives, and local media.
Welcome & Introduction (8:00 p.m.): The ceremony began with the arrival of the Chief Sponsor and District dignitaries, followed by a welcome address by the Club President, who highlighted the importance of community support in sports.
Keynote Address: Project Chairman Lion Usaith Mohamed delivered a speech outlining the project's vision and the positive impact of such initiatives on youth engagement and development.
The Grand Unveil: The highlight of the evening was the dramatic unveiling of the new jersey, with the team proudly modeling the sponsored kit.
Jersey Display:
Sponsorship Recognition: A plaque of appreciation was presented to the representative of AL OTHAIM SUPER MARKET for their invaluable sponsorship. The sponsor representative then addressed the audience.
Fellowship: The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a small reception for fellowship and networking.
