Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar at Kattankudy Central College October 2025 is observed as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Marking this occasion, an awareness seminar on breast cancer was successfully held at Kattankudy Central College National School on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The seminar was organized by the LIONS CLUB OF MAF EXCELLENCE, with the participation of resource persons from the Eastern Cancer Care Centre located in Eravur. The awareness seminar was presided over by the Principal of Kattankudy Central College National School, Al Haj M.A. Nihal Ahamed. The event was organized by the LIONS CLUB Kattankudy Branch members, including its President Lion Bilaal Kaleel PMAF, Secretary Lion Usaith MAF , and members Lion Rifai Kaleel and Lion Siraj. The resource persons for the seminar were the Nursing Officers S.M. Nisran and Ms. A. Anitha from the Eastern Cancer Care Centre, acting under the guidance of the Centre’s Manager, Retired Teacher U.L. Nuhulebbe. The theme for Breast Cancer Awareness for the year 2025 was: "Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters" The resource persons effectively covered various awareness aspects through visual presentations and practical demonstrations, including: • Causes and risk factors for breast cancer. • Symptoms of breast cancer. • Treatment methods. • Relevant awareness activities. Students from the Advanced Level section of Kattankudy Central College attended the seminar. The event was also graced by the College's Vice Principals, A.L. Sabri and M.N.M. Fawzan, and the Advanced Level Section Heads.
