Beneficiaries: 38 Elderly Residents And Staff
The Bandarawela Lions Club Continues To Support And Maintain Senasuma Elders’ Home, Amunudowa, Bandarawela, As A Major Ongoing Community Service Initiative. The Project Provides Essential Support To Ensure The Welfare, Comfort, Safety And Dignity Of The Elderly Residents While Also Assisting With The Regular Operational Expenses Of The Home.
The Home Accommodates 38 Elderly Residents, With Dedicated Staff Members Providing Their Daily Care And Support. The Monthly Project Expenditure Covers Staff Salaries, Utilities, Maintenance, Clothing And Personal Necessities, Transportation And Medical Requirements.
Monthly Expenditure
Staff Salaries: Five Residential Staff Members Are Employed To Provide Daily Care And Assistance To The Elderly Residents. Their Combined Monthly Salary Expenditure Is Approximately Rs. 225,000.
Office Staff Salaries: Two Office Staff Members Are Engaged In Administrative And Operational Duties, With A Combined Monthly Salary Expenditure Of Approximately Rs. 117,500.
Utilities And Maintenance: Electricity, Water, Telephone And Other Regular Maintenance Expenses Amount To Approximately Rs. 45,000 Per Month.
Clothing And Personal Necessities: Bed Sheets, Towels, Pillowcases, Clothing And Other Essential Items For The Elderly Residents, Including Diapers And Related Necessities, Cost Approximately Rs. 75,000 Per Month.
Medical And Transportation Expenses: Transportation, Medical Consultations, Medicines And Other Healthcare-Related Requirements For The Elderly Residents Cost Approximately Rs. 45,000 Per Month.
